November 18, 2024 - Monday - El Brujo Glacier, Chile

November 18, 2024 – Monday              Day 54 of this journey

El Brujo Glacier, Patagonia, Chile

Today was very much like yesterday. Only it wasn’t. Does that make sense?

Yesterday was putting the toys in the water not far from a glacier. Today was the same.

Better weather

The weather yesterday was cold and windy and rainy. Today was much nicer with a lot of sun and no rain. Still cold, but much more fun out on the water.

Yesterday, the mussels were tiny. These look like what we know.

And these really cool geese were hanging around.
This isn't my photo, but bowered from a friend.
And this is exactly the spot where we did see them.

Yesterday we got up close to a glacier and watched it calve. Today, we did the same. But different glacier, different experience.

Presenting El Brujo (the Wizard) Glacier

This iceberg was probably the size of one of
the cabins on board. As you can see, most
is under the surface.

Yesterday they served wine. Today they served hot toddies.

So, lots more photos of the wonderful scenery and another glacier.
