October 18, 2024 – Friday Day 23 of this journey
Sea Day
We are in route to New York City. During the night, the action of the sea picked up so that we are rocking and rolling. Getting to the bathroom in the middle of the night was a challenge.
The seas did not calm down at all during the day with over 3 meter swells and almost gale force winds. After our very busy day yesterday, we are quite content to laze around.
We did one very small load of laundry and helped educate others on how to use the machines in the laundromat.
We had dinner
at Manfredi’s this evening. We tried a different appetizer plate which was very
good. Russ felt his carbonara was a little too al dente, but my ravioli were
excellent.
I am including a video of the action of the sea. When loading it, it inserted itself in the middle.

| This is an appetizer of meats, parmigiana, bread sticks, olives. This is a serving for 1 person. We shared, and still couldn't finish it. |
